New Children's Air Ambulance launched

It's hoping to speed up transfers

A new air base for the children's air ambulance at Doncaster airport is hoping to cut transfer times for critically ill children.

It's estimated it'll make it quicker to get them moved to specialist paediatric units.

It's one of just two flying intensive care units in the country - and will have up to three clinical specialists on board.
