Parents from across South Yorkshire have gathered to protest against the decision to end children’s heart surgery there

Parents from across South Yorkshire have gathered to protest against the decision to end children’s heart surgery there.

The protest was organised by the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund following the news the unit in Leeds is to be axed as part of an NHS review.

It means families will have to travel to either Newcastle or Liverpool.
