Everyone's welcome at our annual free summer open day here at RSPB Blacktoft Sands near Ousefleet.
This year we will be celebrating the reserve's wonderful diversity of birds, wild flowers and insects. Staff will be on hand to show you what is so special about the reserve, and explain the work we need to do to keep it that way.
Delicious refreshments will be available on the day, including a selection of cakes from the local village hall group. There will also be guided walks, children's wildlife activities, and RSPB wardens will be on hand to show you the beautiful birds, wild flowers and insects that make their home at the reserve.
Guided walks around the hides will take place on the hour, starting at 10am. The last walk will be at 2pm. Wildflower meadow walks will also take place at 11am and 1pm.
