EMAS Vows Zero Tolerance Against Attacks

Survey reveals the scale of the problem

Over a quarter of emergency workers at East Midlands Ambulance Service say they've been abused or physically attacked by patients over the past year.
 
Over a thousand staff filled in the annual NHS survey about their experiences.

The trust say it's got a zero tolerance approach - and will take police action.
