Alex was born in Peterborough, but likes to gloss over that as he moved up north before turning two. He has always wanted to be on the radio and used to love making pretend shows in his bedroom. Hopefully the blank tapes are buried in a vault somewhere by now!
When not talking into a microphone, Alex likes to watch films (romantic comedies and horror in particular), dine out, attempt to diet and spend time with his wife Sofia. He's also a huge fan of long bubble baths and owns many questionable shirts & dodgy watches.
Alex's claim to fame is that he did one of the Cheeky Girls' wedding disco, plus he once bumped into former Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley whilst out shopping. He was once a member of Shakin' Stevens' fan club but has since lost his membership card. He also loves politics and the occasional real ale.
You can hear Alex on Trax FM every weekday morning from 6am till 10am, plus Saturday afternoons from 1pm.
